Blackburn United F.C. are a Scottish junior football club from the town of Blackburn, West Lothian. Formed in 1978, they joined the junior grade of football two years later. They presently compete in the East Region and play their home matches at Murrayfield Park, which has room for roughly 2,400 spectators.
The club forms the pinnacle of the Blackburn United Community Football Club, a fully accredited SFA Community Club which, in addition to the adult side, also caters for under age football at all ages from under 9 to under 19 as well as girls and special needs football. For those of an even younger age there is a soccer school with its own dedicated coaches.
Nicknamed The Burnie, Blackburn United's home strip is black shirt and black shorts, both with white trim. The sides away strip is a yellow shirt with yellow shorts. All clubs in the community set up play in these colours.
